Yes. You can still benefit with People’s Health Choice (PHC) even if you are already covered by a health insurance policy. Your People’s Health Choice (PHC) Card can give you access to preferred rates on services that are not covered by your health insurance policy.
(The terms and conditions in your health insurance policy will apply to any services that are paid for by the health insurance plan including your obligation to pay co-pay amounts, deductibles and coinsurance. Also, the rates for services covered by your health insurance are negotiated between the provider and the health insurance company and may be different from the People’s Health Choice (PHC) rates you would pay if you did not have health insurance. 4. Will People's Health Choice work with my Medicare benefits or Medigap health insurance policy?
Yes. People’s Health Choice is an excellent way for you to supplement your Medicare/Medigap benefits and reduce your out-of-pocket expenses for prescription drugs and other healthcare services not covered by Medicare or your Medicare Supplement insurance (also known as Medigap). Please note the following, however:

People’s Health Choice (PHC) Benefits Cards are not insurance policies and your application is not underwritten by an insurance company. All applicants are automatically accepted, regardless of prior health conditions.

Yes, as long as you reside in the United States. People's Health Choice is a nationwide program that offers access to (and preferred rates for) providers throughout the country. However, benefits can vary by location, provider or the type of health care service.
9. Which family members can I include on my People’s Health Choice (PHC) Card?
If you have a family membership, you can include yourself, your spouse or domestic partner, and any children who are under age 24 (up to a limit of 15 family members).

11. Is there a transaction fee to use my People’s Health Choice (PHC) Benefits Card?

Your membership is active within approximately 5 business days of purchasing your membership. You will be issued a temporary membership card upon completion of the enrollment process. You will receive your permanent membership card within 2 weeks of enrolling.
